ATEX Plastic Centrifugal Fans for Explosive and Corrosive Environments

The RSDP Ex series centrifugal fans are specifically designed for the ventilation of explosive, acidic, and corrosive environments. They are widely used in applications such as defense industry facilities, plating plants, medical manufacturing facilities, electrical battery storage areas, and petrochemical plants. The impellers are manufactured from electrically conductive polypropylene (PP-el) and feature a high efficiency backward-curved design with aerofoil 3D blade geometry. They are statically and dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940-1 G6.3, ensuring low noise operation and high efficiency. The single-piece, weld-free casing is made of electrically conductive PE-el material, offering excellent resistance to corrosion and UV radiation. The installation angle can be easily adjusted by loosening the mounting bolts. The standard design is suitable for air temperatures between -15°C and +60°C. The electric motor is positioned outside the airflow, equipped with PTO protection, and rated IP65. All ATEX-certified models are manufactured from electrically conductive, halogen-free (HF), and flame-retardant materials. The units are fully configurable according to project requirements. Note: All surfaces in contact with the air are corrosion resistant, and the motor is completely isolated from the airflow.
